Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Your parents' story has inspired us. We will cherish their love story and hope ours will be the same.

We are sad for your loss but know that your parents are together.

Gordon was our first Bishop when we joined the church in 1967 in Arcadia, CA. In those days we attended church in the Monrovia building. We visited the Lunds in Salt Lake around 1970 and he and Lillie very graciously let us stay at their home. Gordon also took us for a drive and showed us Salt Lake City. They were very kind to us.

Gordon and Lillie were two the classiest people I know. When we moved to the Brighton 2nd ward 30 years ago they were one of the first to welcome us and invite us to be in the ward choir. I will never forget sitting in front of Gordon in church and having him "make the air with music ring". Two of God's choicest will surely be missed by all who knew them.

Dear Deb & Hal

Please know of my love for you and your dad. I worked with him in the sealing department in the temple and Loved him. What a great man. You have great cause to rejoice. How wonderful that they could leave this life together. Kristine and I send our best wishes. Know that we care. (I hope to see you soon Hal.)

Gordon was my bishop in Arcadia in my preteen years. My mom passed away the same day as Gordon. My parents and the Lunds were close friends while they lived in Arcadia.
Condolences to the Lunds from the Pettys.

I, too, remember the Family Reunions in Arcadia. I also have memories of spending nights in their home with Tina (Kristine). My love goes out to the Family and I will remember you in my prayers.

I was privileged to have been close to Gordon's sister Anne Lund, a relative. My 5 daughters were lucky to have her as a wonderful great grandmother who they got to know well and love dearly. She spent most holidays with us. Indeed, She joined our family in a trip half way around the world. She often spoke of her love for and pride in her brother and his dear wife. Although we never met, I came to share that pride in our extended family. Their influence and good reputation reached further...

Jeff, Celeste and family,
We express our sympathy and condolences at this time. May God bless and comfort you through many good people and family.
Love,
John and Mary Furness.
