I can still remember meeting Grandma Clouston for the first time...I thought what a stately and beautiful woman she was! So perfectly put together and dignified. When I was dating Russ, I have a memory of her staying at the house in Portland while his parents were away. We sat on the front lawn on a summer night to look at the stars. Grandma kept a very close eye on us as our official chaperone, finally telling us to come in when it got too late. I also have great memories of her...

My Grandma Grace loved all kinds if candy, especially orange slices, Fannie Mae and Frangos. She loved wearing the colors lavender and blue. She took me to Chicago for lunch on the train when I was a little girl. She would bring me treats and coloring books when she found out I was home sick from school.
