Of Scituate, November 28, 2007, age 82. Loving wife of Leo W. Donovan. Beloved mother of Paul and his wife Judith of Harvard, Anne and her husband John Basilesco of E. Hampstead, NH, Dr. Leo and his wife Patricia of Scituate, Grace and her husband Brian Barnard of Scituate, Maura and her husband Christopher Sullivan of Hingham, Stephen and his wife Lisa of Scituate, Jane (Donovan) Hoffman of Hingham and Brian and his wife Joy of Nashua, NH. Sister of Claire Kessinger of Scituate, Marie Murphy of Milton and the late Wilfred Gaudreau, Jr. and George Gaudreau. Also survived by twenty-two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 3rd in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 10 AM followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Scituate. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-6 PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, SCITUATE. Dearest Leo, Dr. Donovan and family, I learned late of the passing of Grace. She was such a wonderful, caring and beautiful woman. Altho I came to put lunch & supper together for her and Leo for several months, Grace shared some of her receipes on "how to" cook pork chops (with the orange juice & ginger), and every time I made them that way for others, I ALWAYS got a warm feeling in my heart thinking about Grace. I guess God "needed another Angel" in Heaven, and so He took Grace. Her love and compassion will ALWAYS be etched in my heart. God bless her and your family always. Dear Jane & Family-I'm so sad to hear about Grace. She truly was a remarkable women and I'm glad to have known her.
