Grace F Parsons

Grace worked with me in the Lab for many years during my tenure at the Experiment Station. She was a faithful and trusted employee and a great friend. We always looked forward to her newsy Christmas letters and, when we did not receive one this year, we started checking. Rest in peace, dear Grace.

Grace and I became good friends at Cornell in the early 50's. After graduation she was employed for 30 years at the NY State Expt. Station where my Dad, Willard Crosier,was a professor. I worked there summers and since my family lived in the area we saw each other often.Grace was in Ag School courses with my husband, Ronald Carpenter, at Cornell and was helpful in getting us acquainted. It's been said, that Grace volunteered here, at the Office for the Aging for over 10 years.
I've had the pleasure of knowing her for 5.
All I can say is ....Grace was a very kind, gentle woman with a big heart and smile. I feel so lucky I got to know her. She truly will be missed.
