My deepest sympathy to the entire Shoemaker family. My fondest memories of Graham are from my childhood days when we lived just down the street from the Shoemaker family in Odenton, MD. I know he was deeply loved by his sisters and late brother and will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I must say, Shoemaker, as we all knew him at Folsom Prison, was one heck of a guy! He always made us laugh and performed his duties well.
I think I can say for all of us who knew him at Folsom Prison, he will most definitely be missed and it was a pleasure and privilege for us to know him. We are proud to know that he will rest in our Nation's most honored place, Arlington National Cemetery. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my sympathy. I was a classmate of Graham's in 61-F and spoke with him on the phone in April 2009 while visiting a relative at Rancho Murieta.
