Not sure what to say?

Leslie, you probably do not remember me. I worked for Grant in Monterey for a few years when he had his company called 'A Man Around the House' . I came to N.C. some years ago and stayed with you guys to visit and work with Grant on a couple tile projects he had going. He and I may have texted each other maybe once every 2 or three years mainly if I would see one of his pictures pop up on my computer. It must have been Jan. 2004 when I was out there. His picture from 2004 popped up on my...

On this last day of November 2022, I send gratitude for you coming into my sister´s life as her husband, and for the deep love you shared with family and friends. The manzanita tree planted in my yard in your name is thriving. What an honor to have known you! Always will remember, Valerie (sister in law)

As I have processed the loss of Grant from our sight these last weeks and days, my friendship with him will go on forever. I will continue to share his story, live the way he showed me to live both professionally and personally, follow the lessons he taught me and make use of the heartfelt gifts of time and his many talents he gave to so many. This way, he will always be here. My love goes out to my dear friend Leslie and all of Grant's family which he was so proud of.

We are so sad to loose such a fine friend and generous neighbor. Grant was one of those precious guys who never seemed to be able to say no and always had a way to brighten the day. Love to Leslie during this time of loss.

Grant was a good man with a big heart and I will miss him. He was my brother - in - law and I regret not living close because we would have hung out and had lots of fun.

Grant was both my employer and surrogate family to me after I relocated to WNC without knowing a soul. He and Leslie welcomed me into their fold and gave me a real sense of community. I'll forever remember Grant's lively "hidey-ho!" greeting, his enormous heart for service, his optimism and humor, and his indomitable drive to do his best regardless of circumstance. He made me a better version of myself by witnessing his goodness, and I have heard from so many others how he did the same for...

Leslie, remembering Grant today and may God's peace be with you..Love and Hugs to You!!
