Uncle Buv was my favorite Uncle. One year in school I was having difficulty in a class, Uncle Buv spent 3 weeks with me to get through it. When going back to school in the fall, I was one of the top 2 in my class. I enjoyed spending time at Uncle Buv and Aunt Janets house, especially her good cooking. Granny was a core member of our Mens Bible study group at Newport Lutheran Church. We discussed all aspects of life and death. Granny always approached the discussion with wisdom, knowledge, humility and love. I always enjoyed our discussions and I know Granny is swinging his bat in a better place. RIP my friend......

Granny will be missed by my wife, Kay and I. Kay babysat for Granny and Janet and was a student of Grannys in high school. I was fortunate to be a colleague of Granny at Park High School where we shared a lifelong friendship. What made Granny so special was his care for family, friends and students. Granny followed his students and players careers as they moved on from high school, always sending a note to recognize an accomplishment or a word of inspiration when needed. Kay and I will miss...

Granny will be missed by us all. Neighbors while I was still in High School, think I babysat a few times. Appreciated Granny and Janet keeping an eye on my Mom after my Dad Passed. Truly a great person, teacher, friend, role model for so many.

Our sweet Uncle Granville ( we called him uncle Buv) sad to hear of his passing! How crazy how much like dad He looked (Bob) always his same sweet smile!! They were married 68 years? thats amazing!!
