I knew Greg very well. My neighborhood and his neighborhood use to play baseball when we were young.

I knew greg for many years he was a dear friend he was never to busy to say hi I enjoyed him calling apsu basketball games greg was Austin peay j will always remember him he was a fine person there will never be anotherrest in peace I send my thoughts and prayer to his family the sandfer family

Will miss you greg. You were a great driend. I love that you loved my family. Prayers to Pat and Clete. Also thinking about you Barry. Glad I knew you.

Greg was our play-by-play announcer the 2 years I was with Dave Loos on his basketball staff at APSU from 1999-2001. I remember fondly having him with us on road trips throughout the OVC and to such places as Alaska and Las Vegas. I remember giving him a piece of the net after we won the Top of the World Championship in Alaska and how moved he was that the team wanted him to share in that.
He loved the Govs and he felt the pain right right along with the players, coaches and fans...

Pat and Clete,
Our very special friend has hit the major leagues! He is in heaven with Jesus and you can't get better than that! We are going to miss him more than can be imagined. Friendship that goes as far back as first grade has created a lifetime of memories. So blessed to have known him, and both of you.
