I always think of Greg around the time of his birthday, not his death. We would connect at the Osteopathic conference at that time and share a meal. He would share his wisdom and frank thoughts. He taught me a lot.

Never met Greg. I've been reading the book. Wrote this am, a poem. Only to discover an hour later he passed this day. Perhaps I met him in another life.

reading the log of once around
it's as if i wish to voyage again
the trials, the wonder of life at sea
no small part of me untouched
the memories of adventure
once there a sensation forever
the motion the sounds the ocean
on little ships we march in tune
our insturment a compliment
never solo in concert

As clear as ever I hear Greg's advice and pearls of wisdom...and I live by them. Amazing man, friend, mentor, your last phone call to me went to my voicemail. But to respond: I did and always will love you too. I do double-takes often as people pass by. But I don't need to see you because I carry you with me on my journey of life.
