Hey bud, I miss hearing that signature voice of yours, that sly smile, our "jive talk". We had such fun times in the newsroom and on assignment together. I'm not sure what brought me to you this morning. I live in the upstate now not far from Anderson. I didn't have a brother when I was growing up. Greg was the closest thing to that. As I reflect upon Greg's passing, I realize how much our lives mirrored each others. We both had hard working fathers, loving, caring mothers and a wonderful sister. We grew up at a time when there was no internet, cable TV, X-Boxes, etc. Our only entertainment was playing basketball, football and riding bicycles. Those things along with Greg's whimsical sense of humor made an otherwise mundane childhood...

I remember Greg from our days at T.L.Hanna. He always had a smile showing off those cute dimples. May God bless you and comfort you through this difficult time.

Words are inadequate as I ponder the memories that I hold of my friend and colleague, Greg Carson. A true professinal who wss gifted at what he did, Greg had a purpose-driven life. Friends and colleagues are blessed for having known Greg. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
