Not sure what to say?

I was extremely saddened to hear of this news. You don't know me but Greg stayed with a friend of mine in one of my apartments in Chamonix a couple of years ago. It really struck me what a great guy he was, fun, easy to talk to, so passionate about the mountains, and something very caring and gentle about his manner. Needless to say we shared some good times and laughs, a beer or two, on and off the mountain and became a good little group of friends for that short period of time. Strangely...

Although I didn't know him well, Greg's enthusiasm and love for life, and especially the mountains, was infectious. You will be be missed.

I feel like I have come to know Greg a bit through his family during the search at Grand Teton's. His spirit of adventure and love of the wild seems to shine through. My thoughts are with his family and friends at losing him too early. I am sure he will always be watching over them,as he continues his journey.

Sue and Dan,
My heart is just aching for you upon the loss of your dear boy, Greg. I just think of all of us as young mothers talking about raising our kids and picture Greg and Chris as little guys. It's so enjoyable to read about Greg's life and what a wonderful beloved person he had become yet this is such a hard loss for you. You are surely in my prayers. Thank you for all you did for me along the way and the prayers for Dina throughout high school and college. I do hope I'll get...

I am so very sorry for your loss.

I don't know if I ever thanked Greg, somehow he got away with doing all the dissecting in science class because I was too grossed out. It might sound silly, but it's just one of the reasons he was the nicest guy in school. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Rest in peace Greg.

Dan,Sue and Chris- My heart goes out to you all.. I have only love and respect for all of you, your boys are a mirror of you both well loved and wonderful individuals. May you be held in up in the hands of God as you go through this grieving process and know you now have a special guardian angle watching over you all. Hold close the good memories and celebrate a life well lived. Dan,Sue, Chris- my parents also send their condolences, they keep you all in their prayers and send their love.They...

Dan, Sue and family - I have a 32 year old son so I can only imagine the heartbreak you are all experiencing - the picture of Greg and the beautifully written obituary say much for your love and respect for him, he must have been a wonderful man. I prayed for you to find him, and will pray for your grieving - blessings. Pat Rotondi (friend of Dan from Befrienders)

Dan and Sue,
I worked with Greg during his residency at West Virginia University. It was always a great pleasure to know that he was on shift. He was incredibly thoughtful and energetic. As a former Minnesotan, I felt a bit of a kindred spirit with Greg. He is remembered fondly and will be greatly missed.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
