I am blessed to have called Greg Wain friend. It was difficult to know what he endured over the past 3 - 4 years. I am glad I was there for him when he learned of the horrible news. I recall him talking about his sister and getting mad because she was so upset. Even though he hated to hear it, I told him I was praying for his comfort. Greg was my cabin mate on camp staff in Boy Scouts at Camp Geiger. I became acquainted with Greg's family and lived for a time in Savannah, MO upon retiring from the Navy and Greg was one of the first people to reach out and welcome me back home. What a good guy. I wish him and his family peace.

I always thought of Greg like the big brother I never had. Over the years we hung out a lot with my ex-husband and myself. He was always our plus one.
I was deeply saddened to learn of his illness. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. GOD speed.
