I got to know Greg through St. Michael's Chapel at Rutgers in New Brunswick, where Rev. Clarence Lambelet was rector, when I was at Douglass College. I've had no contact with him since then, but for some reason Greg popped into my head last summer and I thought it would be fun to look him up and catch up on 40 years. I had thought he was going to go to divinity school and become an Episcopal priest, so I was searching the internet for "Rev." When I didn't find him, I gave up, got busy...Then...

I had not spent much time with Greg, my cousin, since his family visited us in many years ago in Washington State. My daughter and I came to visit his mother, my aunt Anne earlier this year for several days. It was good to catch up on his life and to enjoy his wonderful sense of humor which I think came from his dad, my uncle George. He was taking such amazing care of his mom. My heart is broken - I just googled Mr. Winter so that my daughters could send him a note as they miss him. We were fortunate enough to live next door and "Mr. Greg" was so incredibly kind to my girls - every day when he got home from work, they would run to the fence yelling "Mr. Greg!"
