Not sure what to say?

As I sit and read all these comments people have posted, I thank you all! You will never know what I have really lost. Not only did I lose my mom, I lost my best friend. She is missed terribly.
Daye (Her daughter)

Gretchen was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She was easy to talk to and would always give good advice, she was very wise. She was a great mother to her children, a loving and devoted wife, and friend to all. Everytime I watch the Tarheels play I will always remember her. I'm proud to have known her and worked with her at Wallace Elementary. She will be truly missed, but there's no doubt she's in heaven watching over all of
us.

Aunt Gretchen will truly be missed. She was such a wonderful and caring person. I will miss seeing her during the summer at the beach, but I know she'll be with each and every one of us while we are there.

You are certianly in our prayers. Gretchen was a good Christian friend. She was one of the first ones I (Marian Kelly)worked with. We all begin working as Teacher Assistant together. Loving, Caring, was Gretchen. Our lost is Heaven gain. To the family and friends, we love you.
May God Bless and keep you.

I have so many wonderful memories of you Aunt Gretchen. Especially my childhood memories. You knew just how to make us feel special and keep us lovingly entertained at every visit.

Robin,Mark,Cristy, Daye, & Kelly.....Thank you so much for sharring your mother's love with Dad and I this past weekend. I love you all. What an amazing family to be a part of.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you, as you go thru this most difficult task of giving up your Mother. I feel that I was blessed to have had her in my life for the last 20 years and I am grateful for the memories. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead. With love, Mary

Your Mama Gretchen was a very lovely lady. I felt privileged to know her, and I believe her love will be with you always. To me, she'll always be the girl in the picture.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
