Dear Yvonne,
Although I did not know Griff, he sounds to have been an amazing man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Griff & cows?? I have yet to understand the attraction, but that is an abiding memory.
What was really amazing, at the event to celebrate Griff's life on Saturday 13th, was the serendipitous falling of a tree at the exact moment that Peter Dunne, singing the Leonard Cohen song "Anthem", sang "there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in". It was very special, leaving no doubt that Griff was there.

Dear Griff:
I smile when I think of you-
your contagious humor always made me laugh.
I am wiser then I think of you-
your genius solved difficult problems and sparked innovation.
I hear music when I think of you-
your compositions and jams filled so many of us with moving artistry.
I feel warmer when I think of you-
your kind and generous nature made me feel our friendship was special.
I am enlightened when I think of you-
your spiritual...

I am deeply saddened by the news of Griff's passing and my warmest thoughts go out to his family and friends. Griff was one of my closest childhood friends when I lived in Lincoln, Massachusetts and I have many vivid, fond memories of us creating our own games, tinkering with electronics and taking trips to his house in New Hampshire. It is no surprise that we all know him for his warmth and his imagination and creativity as he had this passion at a young age. Our friendship was re-kindled...

Griff loved my best friend Yvonne. Griff made her smile, laugh, learn, sing, calm, feel, and be truly happy. It was always nice to know she had an angel living with her, protecting her. Griff, you are the angel. And I know you are up in the clouds of Fairfax floating around checking on things. Thank you.
