Not sure what to say?

Bravo Zulu Captain RIP

Cannot believe that Capt. Rawlings is gone two years now. The USS Jonas Ingram reunions are not the same wihout him being there. The crew misses you Capt. Rawlings.

As a young Seaman of 18, I was fortunate to have served with Captain Rawlings aboard the Jonas Ingram.
He is in my prayers
Smooth Sailing Skipper.

Grandpa you will always be in my heart. I am glad I was able to spend Valentine's day with you and Jane before you left.

Love,

Youngest Grand Daughter
Vanessa Rawlings

Dear Jane, sending along my condolences along to you and your family. Loyally, Carol Buchanan

Rest Easy and Well Done Skipper. M. Turenne

Capt. Rawlings was a great, natural leader of men. I have long believed that had we sailed into harm's way, USS Jonas Ingram (DD-938) would have emerged victorious.

To Mrs. Jane Rawlings

Sorry to hear of Capt.
Rawlings passing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Grover and I had offices near each other at the old Sea Pines office complex, when he was Director of Security for Sea Pines. He was an interesting guy and a gentleman, and I thought very highly of him.
My condolences to his friends and family.
