Guy Dotson Obituary

Guy W. Dotson, 93, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, following a brief hospital stay.
Born August 23, 1931, in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia, Guy was the son of the late Theodore Ashby Dotson and the late Gracie Irene Walkup Dotson. While serving in the Air Force, Guy met his wife of 61 years, Sue Ellen Sartor. Guy received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Power Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1960.
In addition to his parents, Guy is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sue Dotson, daughter, Pamela Sue Dotson, brothers, James Dotson, Sr., Raymond Dotson, Sr., Robert Dotson, Sr., William Carl Dotson, Sr., Curtis Elbert Dotson and sister, Jessie (Dotson) Williamson.
Guy is survived by his children: Thomas A. Dotson, of Seabrook, TX, Patricia L. Bloise and husband Joe, of Baton Rouge, LA and Timothy G. Dotson and wife Donalee, of The Woodlands, TX; Grandchildren, Todd Dotson of Seabrook, TX, , Alexandria (Bloise) Matta and her husband Ryan of New Orleans, LA, Dr. Christopher Bloise and his wife Kelsey of New Orleans, LA, Austin Dotson of Austin, TX, Ashley Dotson of The Woodlands, TX, and Victoria Bloise, of West Palm Beach, FL.; Great grandchildren, Aiden Ernest van Veen, Charles Bloise and Collins Matta.
A memorial for Guy will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home Inc., 1113 West 5th Street, Mcgregor, TX 76657.

I'm very sorry to see of Guy Dotson's passing! And also sorry to see of his wife, Sue's passing too! Guy was the Manager of my Son'(Dell Bredemeyer's ) Little League Baseball Team in McGregor, Texas years ago! Guy and his family were very good people! Thoughts/Condolences/Prayer's to his family and close friends! MAY GOD BE WITH ALL OF YOU! I lived in Mc Gregor for about 20 years!(1969 to 1989)!
