Not sure what to say?

Sharon,Marci,and Guy,
Please know our thoughts are with you, and wish Guy happiness in his new home. I'm certain Guy has met with many friends and family who have welcomed him with open arms. Guy, you will be missed by many, but until we meet again please know we think of you.
Always, Pete and Georgine Lonson

To my uncle,

I look up to you in many ways. You where a delicate, peaceful man that looked a terrible ailment in the face but still kept your composure. You told us when the time comes,to celebrate your life, and that we did.You put others feelings first, even in your poorest phase. You made sure everyone else was going to be alright with the outcome, even at the very end.You have proven that bravery and caring come from deep inside. For all of this, I look up to you.I know you...

The Gogliotti family was extremely saddened to hear of the loss of Guy Merola, the Leamington Avenue "Heart throb". Living directly across the street, being a friend of Susan's & sitting on the front porch we were all just swept off our feet when Guy flashed us a smile, and I can't remember a time when we didn't get one. Rose was a second mother to my family which brings our hearts very close to the Merola Family. Our deepest sympathy to everyone.

Dear Shaon & Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss, but I know you will find comfort knowing Guy is at peace now. Your memories will live with you forever.
With Deepest Sympathy,

I will always remember all the good times growing up on Leamington. Just hanging out with Guy, his Mom,little sister on the front porch of his house. That got to be the neighborhood hangout. I remember we went downtown to some dance program that was on T.V. after school. We all thought that was so cool to be on T.V.He was such a good dancer.I'm sorry we never kept in touch after high school. We moved to Califronia in 1962. I did call as soon as I heard but Guy was sleeping and didn't want to...

Dear Sharon, Marci and Guy,

We just heard this very sad news and in disbelief I checked the Trib.We are very sorry to hear my childhood pal has passed. He had such a wonderful outlook on life. The memories of the old neighborhood, your wedding day and all the good times will always bring happy thoughts of our lifelong friend. Our deepest sympathy.

Mike & Carol

Guy and I were in the band many years ago at Austin. When I heard that he was ill last fall at our reunion I prayed that he would win the fight. He was one of the nicest and kindest people I remember from those long ago times. My sympathy to his family I am certain he will be missed, but never forgotten.

To Sharon and Family,

I will miss my friend very much. What a person-who would give you the "shirt off his back"-for you.Very kind and funny-we used to laugh until it hurt.

All of his friends ,have a chain missing-in our chain-of life-long friends.GOD BLESS GUY AND HIS FAMILY.

To the family of Guy Merola:
I read Guy's obituary and wanted to let you all know how wonderful his life and persona feels to me. Writing an obit as you did fills the reader with joy. He obviously
knew what life was about and that is a gift he left all those who loved him. Sincerely,
