GUY TYRONE PRATHER

I met Guy at Philadelphia Biblical University in 2006, later known as Cairn University. He was always encouraging. A very kind and gracious man. Guy was well respected, intelligent and full of love for the Lord. I will miss him. He finished the race and is now rejoicing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray God's peace and comfort for all who knew and loved him.

My condolences to Guy's family and friends. I played sports with him in junior high and high school. It is easy to echo the theme of sentiments running through the guest book. He was a man among men, always evincing a humble heart, quiet strength, and warm smile. So much more than a great athlete, through Christ, he has now more than conquered even death.

Guy T was my friend and neighbor in Emory Grove---the place where heroes are forged. He was made in some difficult and even supernatural circumstances. We played neighborhood baseball games and he was always a father figure even in his youth. God keep your family and rest in peace. Prayerfully we will meet again.

My condolences to his kids Allyiah and Guy T JR, so sorry to hear of you Dads passing. I love you guys! Stay strong.

Guy T my neighbor from Emory Grove. Did not know I was playing baseball with a future NFL player. He was one gentle and kind brother. We will meet again, prayerfully.

Guy, I would say I could not have had a better teammate that was so quiet and humble who played their heart out. Will always cherish that time. We know there is a greater team and more powerful coaching staff and teammates that needed you to win it all. As we all know we all get a chance to suit up together again. Your work is done here and now you can move into that beautiful room in the Mansion.

I am truly saddened by the passing of Guy T. I graduated in 1975, and was fortunate to have played on the same field with an outstanding young man we always just called "Guy T." He played with emotions and compassion, not with his mouth. The Jacobs/King family gives our thoughts and prayers to your family.
