Gwendolyn Kofnovec Obituary
Gwendolyn Dolores Kofnovec began her journey on December 29, 1926, in San Pedro, CA and after 86 years of blessing this world and 63 years of marriage, she left this earthly life surrounded by her beloved husband, daughters, and other family members on Thursday, March 7, 2013.
Gwendolyn leaves behind her loving husband Bob, with whom she would have celebrated 64 years of marriage this April. She is also survived by her four daughters who miss her dearly: Donna Hanover, Linda Kofnovec, Norma Thomas and Wanda Wilhite; her brother Bud Domas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn was a woman of many talents. She attended UCLA and was an incredible seamstress, homemaker and ranch foreman. She also enjoyed a fulfilling life as a Navy Wife for 19 years moving with her husband to places such as Guam and Hawaii.
Gwen and Bob spent much of their time together dancing with the Sierra Hillbillies Square Dancing and Round Dancing Club. She held a number of positions including Sunshine Lady and Mrs. President.

Gwendolyn Dolores Kofnovec's Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321.

Dear Mom,
It has been three years today since you had to leave us and go to Heaven. I think about you always, I miss you every single minute of my life. I played Tennessee Waltz on my piano today. I hope you could hear it and are dancing the night away with Dad.

I miss you so much Mom. I saw the hospital where I was born and now I miss you more than ever. I have some Channel powder sprinkled on my pillow so will be dreaming about you tonight.
