Not sure what to say?

RIP Dr. Applebaum, you were a true old school doctor who didn´t waste time. You always made me feel like my heart will be fine after my valve got replaced. You were truly a great man !

I just found put about Dr Applebaum’s passing. He was my cardiologist shortly before he retired. He put my mind at ease while addressing any concerns with diligence and an obvious intent to give me his very best of care. I especially enjoyed all the stories he would share about his family at every appointment. It was obvious he loved you all very much and that his passion was truly his family.

This man was my cardio. It was pretty clear that there is one word that best describes Dr. Applebaum. LOVE. He loved helping people. He loved people. He simply exuded love. The world would be Nirvana if everybody behaved the way Dr. Applebaum did. Prayers for Dr. & prayers for his family who he spoke of every time we met.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I was patient for 14 years,he saved me,by getting the stents put in,14 years ago,he was one of a kind, I was truly saddened by his passing,I will miss him,my deepest sympathy to all of his family,he was a Great Dr,and friend, Kathleen Becker and family,

He was the best Dr. I had. So sorry for his loss. Prayers to the family. Love Wendy Boyd.

I met Dr. Applebaum over 16 years ago as my cardiologist. Through his intelligence, guidance and counsel, I am healthier today than when we met, which is hard to do as you age. He truly was an exceptional person who made an incredible difference not just in my life, but in so many others. He will be greatly missed.

The Carreres were so sorry to hear that Hal had passed away. We had always heard what a good doctor he was, but it was the family man that we knew. He loved his children so much and would do anything for them. I can only imagine how happy those two grandsons made him. And Celia- such beautiful care she always gave to her husband and their family. We are so sorry for the pain you must now feel and know that only time will heal that. We send our thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Hal in Hollywood and attended Tulane with him. I even bumped into him at Lightning games. Scott was my dentist for many years. I remember his mother used to work for Eastern Airlines. Some facts just get stuck in your head, never to be lost...LOL. My condolences go out to Celia and the entire Applebaum family and circle of friends.
