FORT WAYNE — Haley Diane Wetherill, age 19, went to her home in heaven on Friday, May 20, 2016 as a result of complications from pneumonia.
Born on August 25, 1996 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Haley graduated from Homestead High School in 2015 and completed her freshman year at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Her heart was full of love, joy, and happiness displayed through her passion for young children, strong sense of family and her dedication to friendships. Haley's beautiful, uplifting and positive spirit touched everyone. She gave of herself freely and was especially proud of her involvement in show choir and becoming a certified yoga instructor. All that knew and loved her will miss her contagious smile and giving heart.
Surviving are: her parents, Wallace and Beth Wetherill of Fort Wayne; younger siblings, Matthew and Lucy Wetherill; maternal grandparents, Tod (Sandy) Wolfrum; fraternal grandmother, Diane Wetherill; uncles, John (Amy) Wetherill and Scott (Amanda) Wolfrum; aunts, Molly (Sean) Fisher, Susan (Doug) Jansen; cousins, Jack, Justin, Julia, Ben, William, Ella, Ava, Grant, Charly, Lexy, Timothy and Mimi Rose; great-aunt, Vicki Rardin; and her beloved dog, Charlie.
Haley was preceded in death by her fraternal grandfather, John Wetherill, and maternal grandmother, Laurel Wolfrum.
Services are at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016 at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rick Hawks will officiate. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Visitation at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road will be Thursday, May 26, 2016, 3 to 7:00 p.m.

Although I did not see her often, when I did she brightened my day. We would talk about how school was going, if we've seen anyone from back home, and just how busy we were. Those conversations with her were different from those I had with others, because with Haley she always seemed to care and was always trying to improve others' days.
