Not sure what to say?

Halley was my most favorite as well as influential of my teachers. I formally adopted her so to speak and adopted her into my Scottish Clan The International House of Gordon and. Gave her a tartan sash with clan pin pm it. Only my wife Sharon who passed on 2023 March 19th has had that privilege. My ordination decisions were influenced by Halleys teaching abilities and as a BA Hum. I followed in her footsteps.

Hallie was my my finest teacher, also remembered her friendship mwith me throuh the years, when I, too followed in nher footsteps and became a teacher also. There is not a day gone by that I don't think of her and say a prayer, light a candle in her memory. Thus Passeth Away, The Glory of The World. Sic Transit, Gloria Mundi

So many years have passed since my art history classes with Hallie Lu at Rollins, but I never forgot her. Hallie Lu's patience and kindness were always very accessible to the students in her classes, and the anecdotes she shared about her travels to places like Cappadocia simply fascinating. I also remember the fun stories about her cats too, including how cute one of them looked in a Santa suit at holiday time! Hallie Lu was thoroughly original and will always be an inspiration to me.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hallie was a kind and caring person.

You sparked in me a life long appreciation of art.

Our family will not be the same without you...
