Hank was a close friend and an inspiration through my entire my life. I think about him every time our Rotary Club discusses the Polio Plus projects. I tell my family and others about how he lived "on the sticks" due to polio. We spent a lot of time together at school, in Baldwin park and at his house on Elm Street. The way Hank handled his polio disability was amazing. He played quarterback in our football games and we tackled him! He batted in the baseball games and we had someone run the bases for him. I recall sleeping over at his house many times, and we wrestled on the floor for hours. Hank: Thank you and rest in peace.
