Not sure what to say?

Dr. Eswaran will be missed by many. I watched him lead others in a variety of situations. He was brilliant, a gentleman, and a friend to many. His contributions were imaginative, unique and important. Deep condolences to family and close friends.

Steven Holzhey, retired soil scientist, Suquamish, WA

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in family, friends and prayer (Psalm 65:2) during this difficult time.

Great Person and Teacher in the field. I have learned from him a lot concerning the sustainable management of soils and will pursue for our mutual cause the 'Anthroscape' which he had named to define the human driven soil eco-systems.

with Hari during a training workshop in Thailand, 1995

It is sad that we have lost a great soil scientist. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear about the demise of such a good friend, respected colleague, thorough gentleman, and outstanding soil scientist.

Please accept my heart felt condolences on Dr. Hariharan attaining the feet Lord Vishnu. May the almighty Grant him peace and the family strength to pass through these trying times.

I'm proud to have known and worked with Hari. He was a true professional and a skilled scientist. Karl Hipple, Retired NRCS

Hari was truly a giant in his field and as a friend and colleague he will be sorely missed. His passing will be missed by soil scientists the world over.

Hari was my mentor in soil sciences. I worked for him in 1998 at USDA /NRCS on desertification issues in Africa. He was fun, full of good humor and jovial.
May your soul rest in perfect Peace Hari.
