A great man. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was my band director 83-87 and had a major impact on my life. My condolences to the family.

Mrs. Butler,
I am sorry for your loss. Mr Butler was a wonderful man, teacher, and mentor. He treated all the band members as his "children." He was always considered a father figure in my eyes. My parents attended many band trips. Class of 1986.

Mr. Butler was not only a teacher, but also a mentor, a leader, and a friend.

Mr. Butler was my band director at Langford Junior High in 1972-74. He was more than just a teacher he impacted all of us in a positive way. He would go the extra mile for us. I will always remember his smile and sweet spirit. My condolences go out to his family.
