I will always remember and be grateful to my buddy-acquaintance, Harry Abraham. My wife and I were just talking tonight and I said to her "do you remember Harry Abraham?" I googled him and just found this site. We are now heartbroken, because Harry provided the soundtrack for our courtship. My wife was a big Abraham fan and we both used to listen at night. I never met Harry, but it seemed like I knew him as his style was conversational. I listened to "the Best of All Possible Worlds" religiously while making frequent drives from Kentucky to Pennsylvania. From him, I learned of Chick Corea, Brian Auger, George Benson, and countless others. HARRY VISITED COOPERSTOWN EVERY SUMMER TO ATTEND GLIMMERGLASS OPERA. WE BECAME GOOD FRIENDS AND I AM SO SAD AND SURPRISED TO HEAR OF HIS DEATH. HE WAS A GREAT GUY AND FUN TO BE WITH. Harry Abraham was a buddy-acquaintance. I listened to him religiously back in the 70's while in grad school; wrote some record reviews for his "Different Drummer" magazine; and, ended up working for the same company he worked for, Rust Communications (WRXL-FM). My shows through the years have been build on the same structural format as Harry's. He was the jazz educator and trend setter for many getting into the music. I was not aware he was ill. Sorry to hear of Harry's passing. I moved to VT from NYC in 1967. There was no jazz on any local stations. I discovered "The Best of All Possible Worlds" quite by accident. I worked in the restaurant business and always came home late. I'd sat in my car in the apartment parking lot one night looking for a baseball game
