I loved working with Dr. Bergee I worked in Coronary care for 17 years. He was the smartest, kindest, most interesting Dr. When our paths crossed following his retirement, I enjoyed his stories...he was such a wealth of information and firsts! I really wanted him to write a book!! An honor to have known him. Such a treasure

I think my brother Richard Griswold and Harold were good friends in high school in Fort Madison, Iowa. I remember hearing Harold Bergee's name often as I grew up. His name was always associated with kindness and goodness.
