HAROLD BOUTILIER

I was an art student at UVM back in the 1970s and bought what supplies I could afford at Boutliers. Mr. Boutlier (Hal) was so helpful to me as to my choices of supplies, gave me art advice and even discounts if I didn't have exactly enough cash.

He was a wonderful and nice man and I did business with him for many years afterwards. I am now 63 and still remember his kindness; he will be missed.

I knew Hal from 1970, mainly from contact in the store. But his employees were always happy and comfortable there, reflecting a considerate boss. They liked him, and I did, too.
