I met Hal and his wife Sue through charity motorcycle rides held in southeast Georgia. Even when we weren't riding our motorcycles, our paths seemed to cross be it on the pier on St. Simons Island or the grocery store in Brunswick. I enjoyed hearing about his life and times. He was really an interesting man. He was a true biker. He didn't just own a motorcycle; he actually rode a lot and went to meetings of other biker groups so he would know when they were being held. I first met Hal and his wife Sue back in 2010 riding motorcycles and quickly became friends. I sure will miss him and Sue riding around on their bike. God bless him and his wonderful wife Sue. Rest easy my friend.

I had the good fortune to know Hal and Sue when we moved to St. Marys from Kentucky in 2019. Like Hal, we have a love of motorcycles which is how we became friends. A truly lovely couple, Hal and Sue made becoming friends extremely easy! I will remember Hal as one who readily volunteered to help other folks when the need arose. His years of service as a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles ("People Helping People") is testimony of his years of good deeds to others. Hal will be missed by...
