I had the privilege of working with Chef Harold at The Old Drovers Inn in Dover Plains, NY during 1974-75 when I was a culinary student attending the Culinary Institute of America. Sorry for your loss Solange and to your family. I remember when I would visit your house as a child. Natalie Fortier

I am saddened to learn of Harold's death. Harold was a dear friend when my family and I were neighbors. He, as is well known ,was one of the world's great chefs. I have wonderful memories of dining in his restaurant, and stl think about the delicious roasted quail. My sympathies to Cynthia and his family.
