Harold Jones

We were fortunate enough to have been neighbors to Harold and Barbara for many years. They were delightful, bright, and interesting people with high standards and great loyalty to our community. You could always count on Harold and Barbara. We saw their faith and their resolve during Barbara´s illness. They were an inspiration to all.

I knew Harold for several years through the Houston SABR chapter of baseball history folks. He was one of the first people I met upon joining the chapter many years ago, and he remained one of those I was most gladdened by seeing. We often sought each other out to sit next to at meetings. He had a sly wit and was always a wonderful, pleasant and interesting conversationalist. That is a fine attribute in a person. Condolences on the passing of your loved one, Harold Jones. RIP Fond memories of Barbara and Harold volunteering for many years at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital. Barbara trained me as a volunteer 34 years ago! How very devoted she was to the Hospital Volunteer Service. May their memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who loved Harold.
