Not sure what to say?

Hey, we found this Obit on Google images and just wanted to stop and say this man looks like he's an amazing human being <3 Never met him but our condolences are with you

The world is not as bright and beautiful as it used to be. Our brightest light is now gone.
I loved him with all my heart and will miss him terribly. But I am sure he will live on in his art, in our hearts, and in the woods that he cherished so much.
Grief truly is the cost of loving.

My sincere condolences to his children, grandchildren, and family.

Sandy Woodman

I'd like to pass along what is probably a little known part of Harold's life that we and others shared with him.

I was a member of an olympic weightlifting club that trained at the "Y" (7th & Hamilton) under the auspices of Dale Hartman, a local successful bodybuilder/weightlifter. When we felt ready, we entered the US AAU Novice weightlifting contest in Philadelphia. Being a team event we needed to be represented in all weight classes so we enlisted skinny Harold to fill the 132#...

love and appreciation for 25 years of great times, special moments, and most of all-our journey together reaching higher levels of awareness. Working together, and being your muse was icing on the cake Your Spirit will be with me always Love Catherine Marquette. .

Harold, I had the pleasure of meeting you and your sweet son only one week before you moved on into the eternity your beautiful mind could even comprehend. You gave me one of your prized cactus in which I spotted immediately entering your humble abode. As I sit here writing your cactus is in the sunshine growing such as you said it would. That day I met a truly unusual man with an insight to spirituality like no other I had ever met.His persona had left so enlightened,But,also helped two...

Dear Hal,
We met back in 1967 when my older brother met you at Elmer Helds Service Station formerly on Hamilton Street. I recently started learning Karate from another person when my brother learned that you were an excellent instructor. My brother walked up to you and said "I'm a coward can you help me?" You said yes and my brother started with you. I had several months of training with this other instructor when my brother came home after a few lessons from you and I couldn't touch him....

I had only met Harold three times and those visits were toward the very end of his life. Harold and I connected on a very deep level - it was painfully obvious that he was on a very different plane than just about anyone else I had ever met. One thing among others we shared was our common interest in barns. Harold came out of a very different mold - that is for sure. I wonder if there is even one person very much like Harold for every county in all the states. If we do - then this world is a...
