Spec was a kind, fun, smart man, who loved baseball and the people he met along the way.
I met him in Louisville, when he worked for A. Ray and the Redbirds. My roommate, Mary Alice worked for him.
All these years, he'd call almost every week to keep in touch. Getting busy with my job and travel, I realized that I hadn't heard from him in a while.
Glad that he's home with Tommy.
RIP, dear Spec!

May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time in your lives. We all yearn for better conditions. It's refreshing to know that God's word speaks of a time when all sorrows will be gone and that mankind will live in beautiful surroundings with nothing to fear.-Isaiah 65:17,21-24.

So sorry for the loss of your dear "Spec". He was a friend of my late husband, Jim Beauchamp and they were connected through the world of professional baseball. My condolences go out to each of you at this time.

Good Bye Spec, we will miss you, your Neighbors, Daniel R. Gibbs, and Catherine A. Gibbs. To me it was a very great honor to know a WWII Naval Veteran so near to us. "GOD be with you Always!"
