I just don’t understand. No-one spoke to me of this life long friend being ill. He asked me to meet his wife at lady FFD gathering but I got way-layer. Please would love to speak with Karen now

Harry will certainly be missed by all. I worked overtimes while I was with the FFD with him. We were on different shifts. He was fearless.

It was such fun spending time with Harry, Karen and family the last trip to California! We laughed, went to church, ate, and got to know what a good heart and kind soul Harry was. I was Harry's Division Officer on the USS Davidson in 1966-67. He was a very pleasant, dedicated, good natured, hard working sailor. I had the pleasure of running into him and his brother Chris at a Davidson reunion in San Diego in 1913. We swapped stories and caught up on our lives. Wonderful time. I have attached a photo of the two of us at that event. My deepest condolences to Karen, Chris, and the rest of Harry's family. He was a true gentleman. Wish I had known him better.
