Cuando mi familia quiso ir de paseo a su país, la entrevista personal la condujo el Sr. Orr. Tengo el mejor recuerdo de su caballerosidad porque nos trató como si fuéramos amigos de toda la vida. Han pasado unos 25 años de esto y hoy súbitamente recordé su nombre, solo para darme con la triste noticia de su partida. Habíamos pedido una visa solo para ese viaje pero el Sr. Orr nos concedió una visa de diez años. Seguiré recordándolo siempre como una persona buena y generosa. Un abrazo a toda...

Con gran tristeza hoy me entero del sentido fallecimiento de mi gran jefe, Harry L. Orr. Tere lamento mucho no estar a tu lado y darte un abrazo muy grande, te quiero querida amiga. Tu me presentaste al Sr. Orr, desde el primer instante que lo vi supe que sería mi gran jefe, caballero, cortes, protector, sumamente inteligente y paciente. So sorry to learn of Harry death. I worked with him at AMEMBASSY, Kingston over 40 years ago, Actually he and his wife Maria served as witness at my wedding in 1980. My condolences to his family.

I just heard through the DC grapevine in DC that my good friend had passed. I just retired from the State Department after 32 years. But Harry was my first boss, who initially taught me the diplomatic ropes but most importantly taught me to be me no matter what. A gentleman and polished diplomat there was nothing that Harry didn't know. To know HArry is to know he was a loving and compassionate man to his loving wife and children. Incredible human being....when you remember a name 40...
