Goodbye Harry. Great memories back in late 1970's, Norwich. You were a entry-level reporter at Norwich Bulletin....the boat we bought! That boat was fantastic. Took a whole bunch of folks to Cape Cod one Saturday. Great memories. Wish we had more time together man!!! Pat

I just learned of Harry's passing. I am shocked and saddened. I met Harry when I was working as a bartender at a popular Capitol Hill establishment and we hit it off immediately. When I moved to a different apartment on The Hill it was Harry and I doing the moving. Some time later I was happy to reciprocate when he moved directly across the street from me. I brought him to Pennsylvania several times when I was going up to visit my parents. Nothing made Mom happier than cooking for guests. Harry made Mom VERY happy. I remember one Thanksgiving I don't think Harry ever left the table. Dad and I were watching football and Harry was still in the kitchen. Dad turned to me and laughed, "Jesus! Don't you have food in DC!"
Harry was one of a kind and I shall miss him greatly.
Rest well, my friend.

Harry and I worked for Congressman Bill Clinger and were neighbors in Alexandria for many years. Harry was a groomsman in my wedding with Julie Chlopecki. He was a talented journalist, then Congressional Press Secretary and worked for numerous cabinet secretaries and assistant secretaries. I'll most remember Harry for his humor and the way he attracted almost everyone in any room. Rest in peace my friend.
