Not sure what to say?

I loved Proff Sauer for his thought provoking classes in Heat Transfer, back in 1965.
He had asked me to work by first principles. I will ever respect him for that advice.

Like he did for so many others, Dr. Sauer inspired my love of HVAC design when I took one of his classes at UMR in the mid '90's. He was one of the best instructors I've ever had. He had a rare ability to communicate with us on our level as beginners to HVAC instead of expecting us to automatically understand everything at a graduate level. I respected and admired him greatly. He will be missed.

My deapest condolences to his family on the loss of a great, great...

Pat, I am sorry to learn of the loss of your husband. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your children at this time of sorrow.

Dear Mrs. Sauer and family,
I only had Dr. Sauer as an adviser for this past school year, but in that time, he was the most intelligent and direct adviser that I've had in my time at UMR. I may not have known him very well, but I am very grateful for his help.

I will make sure to keep him and all those affected in my prayers as well as pass the news along to my friends so that they may pray as well.

peace and love

Mary Jo,

Susan and I send our deepest condolences at this time. Though we have never met, my Mother, Emma Elizabeth Spaulding (nee Drannan) spoke of you often. Her mother was Elizabeth Drannan (nee Sauer). We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Sauer and family,
As one of the many student engineers who used Dr. Sauer's textbooks at Rolla (E.Mech. '79), I remember Dr. Sauer and he was well known on campus. May God's peace be with him! May God's consoling love and compassion be with you all.
In Jesus' Name,

Mary Jo

I am so sorry for your loss. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Pat, I don't know if you remember me, I was a good friend of your mother. I want to extend my sympathy to you on the loss of your husband. You are in my prayers.

My deepest sympathies for Dr. Sauer's family and friends.
