Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Harry was a rare jewel. A man of simple and quiet taste, I don't know if he ever did anything nice for himself. However, if anyone asked him for help, he would drop everything and help, no questions asked. Such generosity of spirit. It has been moving to hear the stories from his friends and neighbors about his quiet acts of kindness. To the very end, he marched to his own drumbeat. I will miss his laugh, his bear hugs, the mints he always kept in the truck for us when we were...

All of the above perfectly describes Harry. I speak for The American Legion Post, 488 of Monroe, NY. It was Our Honor to say, "Goodbye" to a friend and Comrade. May He rest in peace for his Service to Our Nation and all of us Americans. Amen.

To Harry's Family and Friends,

We were truly fortunate to have known Harry whom we met years ago through a friend Roberta who Harry had dated for many years. They were truly a pair and should of married years ago. Uncle Harry was a very kind and funny person, I was lucky enough to see him on almost a weekly basis, when my Father, (Greg Jones) brought my sister and I to visit our Nana (Leota Stitt) every Sunday, on High street. He will be greatly missed.

Uncle Harry was a special and unique person. I will miss his kind, gentle ways and his off beat humor. He had a great laugh. We had lots of great times together. You were a blessing to all of us!

To the Stitt family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
