Hartwell Thompson was a good grandpa and an accomplished man. He was intelligent, friendly, and willing to help people out. Every time I log on my computer I think of his payment for it. I would write him on holidays and saw him almost every summer but still I know there are many things I did not know about him. As a grandaughter of Hartwell Thompson, I am very proud to have had a grandfather so extraordinary. I am a young author and many people don't take it seriously when I say that I have written a 400 page novel because I am so young. But my grandfather was one of the few people who supported my writing without question, knowing what kind of potential I have and believing in my dedication to my novel. It is one week since the memorial serivce for "Papa"- father and grandfather. As we were thinking of him on this sunny spring morning, the first Rose Breasted Grosbeak of the season appeared at our bird feeder! We remember how much he enjoyed seeing them (and the Indigo Buntings) at the feeders when he visited here. We miss you Papa- With love, Sarah, Jim, Ben & Anna

Dr Thompson was a wonderfull caring Physician. I feel Blessed that he was my Doctor during the the 1980's. He will be missed by many and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Thompson Family
