FISCHLER, Harvey E. Of Westwood, 66 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (Tanar) Fischler, entered into rest September 25, 2008. Dear son of the late Anne (Staretz) Rantz & the late Abraham Fischler. Step-son of the late Morris Rantz. Devoted father of Melissa Fischler Hed & her husband Nevo Hed of Westwood. Cherished grandfather of Ella & Shelly Hed of Westwood. Loving brother of Selma Pomeranz & her husband Stanley of Woburn & the late Frederick Rantz. Step brother of Joan Estabrooks of Salem, NH, David Rantz, Florence Hodgkins & Lois Vasel all of Winthrop & the late Marjorie Ferrara. Brother-in-law of Patty Rantz of Toronto, Canada & many nieces and nephews. Services at Temple Beth David, 7 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood on Friday (today) at 11:00 AM. Memorial Observance will be held at the home of Nevo Hed & Melissa Fischler Hed immediately following the service on Friday until 7:30 PM, Saturday 6-9 PM and Sunday 10am-8 PM with services beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
