Harvey Glance

I was a third grade student at Matthews Elementary in Columbus, Ga when Mr. Glance visited our classroom. I remember he sat with us and talked with us, always smiling. He had a gold medal with him and I was a curious child, so asked if I could touch it. He said, "Here, try it on," and put it on me. I have shared that story so many times about the kindness and smile of Mr. Glance. My condolences.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Uncle Harvey "Edward", I think about you every single day, I try not to cry, but I can't help but miss all of your laughter and how you would just be here with us having a great time. But I know you are in the right place with our sweet family above, so I made this picture in comfort to remind myself and every else who may feel the same that they are celebrating you there at this very moment that you are there, WHAT A JOY!
