Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Roscoe and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Roscoe's passing. I remember him at the Diamond Island gatherings, the fun we had, the camp he loved... I still think of it as "the Roscoe place" up on the hill. I will keep him--and you--in my thought and heart during this most difficult time. In sympathy and friendship, Cindy Spencer

Loretta, We extend our sincere sympathy to you and the family.
We love you both from afar these days as life moves on. Harvey was personable and always a gentleman. We remember the Diamond Island gatherings so fondly. We will keep you in our prayers,
Love, Jack and Gerie Spencer

Joan, Jim, Brianna, & John,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My grandfather was always an inspiration to me and my cousins. He will be in our hearts forever and always. His memory will always be cherished.

I was very sorry to hear about Mr Roscoe's passing. He was a great neighbor who put up with our basketball court across the street from his house!
My condolences to Loretta, Greg and Andrew.

We were very fortunate to have had Harvey as a favorite neighbor when we resided in Acton. He was always a true gentleman, and we have very happy memories of his sharing his sailboat with us in Maine, and his quiet and capable demeaanor in his many accomplishments. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Loretta and all of the family.

I, among so many others, will always remember Harvey (Mr. Roscoe to us boys) who served as the Scoutmaster of Troop 11 in Acton.

I recall one evening when he patiently quized me on my rather novice map reading skills - he was trying to help me to interpret a topographic map and I was having a difficult time comprehending that the railroad tracks probably passed through a tunnel in the hill rather than going up and over it.

He took us hiking and camping and it had a profound...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Roscoe family at this time of loss.

While I did not have the honor of meeting Mr. Roscoe personally, I do have the honor of knowing his family, especially his son, Andy. Any man with the love and support of Andy's mom, Loretta that can raise a family like theirs is cause for celebration. May we all be so lucky.
