I attended Southwest High School with Heather. I only had her in my art class. I was a very cold and lonesome person due to my uobringing, but I distinctly remember Heather was insistent on speaking to to me even though I was not good at talking back. Most other students who tried would eventually disengage, feeling I wanted to be left alone or right want to talk to them. When Heather was born, it was my great pleasure to deliver her. All through the years of her short life, I watched her grow and was so proud of this independent little girl. She was just turning into a beautiful young lady, when she was taken away from us. I love you Nikki, and miss you very much... Dad

I work in the medical examiner's office and I was very hurt over the way this poor girl passed away. I said a silent prayer for her and her family. God Bless.

heather was a friend of mine. i went to school with her at the fort worth can. i was pregnant with my son at the time she passed and the memories of her always talking about him i will never forget. she was a great person and will always be remebered! <3
