What a kind sweet man he was. Heber performed my marriage ceremony and was my sunday school teacher-he was very patient with us and I always had a lot of respect for him. My sincere condolences to his family.

Uncle Heber was my father's older brother, whom we all loved and respected. Some of the most memorable times of my childhood were spent with him and Aunt Vinese on their ranch in Levan. We will hold a Trisagion prayer service for Uncle Heber at our Eastern Orthodox Antiochian Mission Church in Davenport, Iowa on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at 5 pm. All are welcome. Prayers will also be said daily for 40 days, as is our custom.

I had alot of respect for Heber. He was a kind and caring person and was always honest and straightforward in his dealings. Heber told me he had visited with my grandfather ( Alma Dalby ), at the old Nephi hospital, the night Alma died. That always meant alot to me, knowing someone grandpa knew and respected had been with him that night.
