My deepest sympathies to Hedy's family. Hedy and I would occassionally car pool from Newburgh to SUNY Albany in the '50's. She had a wonderful sense of humor. We both had cancer experiences at the same time and I remember a phone conversation with her when we both were far enough away from the initial shock to laugh and make fun of our loss of modesty (among other things)and other hospital experiences. She was a one person telephone support group. She will be missed.
