My deepest sympathies to the Bagatelle family. She was a great roommate to me in Care One. It was an honor to have Hedy as my friend. Thanks to the family for the kindness you showed me! She was truly a woman of valor!

Hedy was one of the classiest ladies I've ever had the honor to know. She was a challenge, but she had a heart of gold. I know that she will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Hedy's family. Hedy and I would occassionally car pool from Newburgh to SUNY Albany in the '50's. She had a wonderful sense of humor. We both had cancer experiences at the same time and I remember a phone conversation with her when we both were far enough away from the initial shock to laugh and make fun of our loss of modesty (among other things)and other hospital experiences. She was a one person telephone support group. She will be missed.
