I am honored to have known Helen not only because of what she accomplished in her life but because she helped a lot of people, especially the Hispanic community.

I am happy to have met her because also I met her wonderful parents and her sister Rosemarie. Hector and Rick, I was saddened by the news of your mother's passing. I've known your family for years and is was always a nice surprise to run into her from time to time. The memory of your mom as a church leader at St. John Berchmans, later with C.O.P.S. and then City Council made an impact on the city of San Antonio and on the State of Texas.
