I was a very young 11 years old when I went to Grove School from the North Shore of Chicago. I was there for a year and a half, 1980-81. I have so many vivid memories of that time, I am 55 now. One memory was when Mrs. Davis took me clothes shopping before going on vacation with my Mom & Sister. A BIG deal!!! She & Jack were such characters! Jack would have this special way of raising the pitch of his voice and say, "Hel--EN!" It was a LoVe Call, I will say now, all these years...
