Not sure what to say?

Bobby,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember her from years ago. She was a classy lady. Susie and I will be thinking of you.

Dear Bobby, Nelson, Belinda, and Phillip,

We were sad to read about your mother's passing in the paper. We lost our mother this past August, so we know what a difficult time you are going through. We remember your mom swimming with all of you at the Camp Croft pool when we were kids in the 60's. Remember all those good times. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
